Are We Entering an Age of the Arts?

"In an age where anyone can access the world's knowledge on the internet," how can we best support arts education efforts in the classroom?

For an organization focused on bringing access to art and cultural experiences to deserving students, a question like the one above - posed by a stellar team of local arts education advocates including  John Tighe and our friends at BAM - couldn't have us more excited.

BAM Education and The Department of Cultural Affairs have formed the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable to continue an on-going dialogue about the importance of arts education in New York schools.

We're excited at the possibilities of what this could mean for not only our organization, but the presence of art in school across New York City. Read the full article here.
