Welcome to The Situation Project, a 501(c)3 corporation. Our efforts focus on providing experiences to communities that lack access to cultural opportunities and live events. We believe that experiencing a live event has an unique and powerful impact, and that these moments add to the cultural capital of the students in these communities.
We do this by working with schools, community-based organizations, local governments and the community-at-large to bring exposure and awareness to students and individuals by providing access to cultural experiences such as theater, dance, music, film, and visual art.
Damian Bazadona, President & Founder of Situation Interactive, addresses the TEDxBroadway community on February 23, 2015 on The Situation Project's efforts and progress over the last year. In 2014, The Situation Project gained its official 501c3 status, sent over 1,000 students to see The Phantom of the Opera, On the Town, and Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella.
